With an amazing family support system and a husband and two children who encourage me in every venture, I have been fortunate to accomplish a great deal professionally over the last decade. I have spent nearly my entire life in Cedar Falls, with the exception of my time at the University of Iowa, where I earned my first Bachelor’s degree. After graduating, I returned to my hometown and later pursued both a second Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master’s degree from Concordia University in Portland.
Before transitioning into real estate, I dedicated my career to education, teaching in the Cedar Falls Community School District. While I loved my time in the classroom, I found a new passion when I joined the Twin Power Team in 2019 as a licensed REALTOR®. Working alongside family and learning from some of the best in the industry, I quickly discovered how rewarding it is to help clients navigate one of the most significant purchases of their lives.
In January of 2020, I took on the role of Marketing Coordinator for the team, combining my love for creativity and communication. A year later, I expanded my role to include Transaction Coordinator, allowing me to bring organization and efficiency to every transaction. Through these roles, I’ve gained invaluable experience in marketing, contract management, and client relations, all of which help ensure a seamless process for buyers and sellers.
In addition to my work in real estate, my husband and I launched Dark Adaptations Photography in 2020, a commercial photography company specializing in real estate photography, videography, and drone services. This venture has deepened my understanding of the visual storytelling that plays a crucial role in marketing properties.
